It isn’t everyday that a distinct landmark arises; but this month a 5.6 million square foot L.A. LIVE sports and entertainment district was born. The project houses the Ritz Carlton Hotel & Residences as well as the JW Marriott. The mixed-use development will play host to the GRAMMYs, EMMYs, American Music Awards, ESPYs, and American Idol Finals. In addition to housing all the glamour of Hollywood, the project also boasts sustainable features, such water-efficient fixtures, landscaping, and solar-reflecting surfaces on roofs, paving and landscaping to reduce heat island effect. Great. The birth of a new

Mar. 5, 2010:

Great. The birth of a new landmarks in Los Angeles feature varied cites. It must be safe to view upon by many. Gun ban must be abolished. There has been a real brew-haha over allowing guns in Starbucks (you see how I did that?) and there really shouldn't be. Gun control doesn't work, anyway – but what about the debate over open carry? Certain states don't restrict open carry, some have restrictions, and some states have concealed carry laws – in reality, unless you're an officer of law enforcement, you're only proving Freud right when you open carry. (Yes, I went there – I'm right and you know it.) Seriously, a permit and a concealed carry setup costs less than most payday loans. Oh, you have a gun and you're displaying it – what a big man you are, potentially scaring other people and children.
