This is a kind of place that stirs memories of quietness and recreation. I wonder wether other citizens know similar places in their metropolis?

Almut Jirku and Thies Schröder wrote of the project in Garten+Landschaft 2/2000 that “The aim of Häfner / Jiménez landscape architects to continue the tradition of Lenné’s Havel parks has been achieved in an up-to-date manner. Existing elements and vistas are put into scene unobtrusively, with skilful assistance to natural circumstances. This example shows that free use of form does not necessarily equal arbitrariness. All in all, Krienicke Park is an entire success.”
